I have naturally dark brown hair. I am also in my very late forties. I used to dye my greys out with a deep dark brown close to my natural colour, but at a certain point, found the colour was ageing me. For the last couple of years, my hairdresser has been giving me blond balayage with some face framing light blond tones (I am surprised to say, I love). I have tried A LOT of different purple shampoos and conditioners to counteract the inevitable brassiness and yellowing that comes with bleaching. The results ranged from barely any toning effect to an ok result, but I was still a slave to shelling out hundreds of dollars at the hairdresser every month, because I could not stand the awful unnatural bleached-blond/yellow/orange that would begin appear a couple of weeks after a salon visit. Enter Mr Smith and oh my goodness! What a transformation! I have used the product as a conditioner 4 or 5 times now and every time my hair looks and feels amazing every time! It genuinely looks like I have just been to the salon. My colour is gorgeous, perfectly toned and looks freshly done. My hair feels strong, soft and shiny and just beautiful. I keep delaying my next hair appointment because my hair looks great and doesn’t need a refresh. Although this conditioner is on the pricey side, I’m saving hundreds of dollars a year on extra salon visits because I don’t have to visit so often (not to mention the time sitting in the hairdresser’s chair). The fact that Mr Smith products are vegan and cruelty free are absolutely paramount to me - I wouldn’t have even tried the product if it wasn’t. I don’t know what sorcery Mr Smith has created with these products, but oh my am I soooo glad to have found them - customer for life!

Starting using all Mr. Smith products at my hair salon and could not get over how good my hair felt and how good it smelt.
